Position Title: Senior UX Designer (strong interaction design skills are a must have) 
Location: Hybrid 4 days onsite – Atlanta, GA 
Employment Type: W2 Contract through end of January 2026 


Position Purpose:

At our client, UX is at the core of everything. As a member of the UX team, you will collaborate with strategists, designers, and researchers to craft end-to-end experiences and identify critical customer needs.

We are looking for a designer who is passionate about solving complex enterprise problems. Whether applying design thinking techniques to drive ideation or using rapid prototypes to test hypotheses with users, you know how to choose and execute the right steps to solve problems effectively.

You understand the importance of well-crafted interaction and visual design while also valuing imagination and play in building impactful business solutions. You thrive on collaboration with users to create more effective and efficient experiences and recognize research as a foundation for strong design, even if you are not a dedicated researcher yourself.

You value feedback and support from fellow researchers, designers, engineers, analysts, and product managers in a cross-functional environment. You are comfortable influencing leadership and advocating for users at all organizational levels. Your insights drive innovation, improve product usability, and open new opportunities to delight customers. You communicate effectively and share a clear, compelling point of view to guide quality decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

25% – Planning and Strategy Execution

  • Execute against the experience vision and strategy by combining user research insights with product objectives.

  • Deliver solutions that align with business goals and user needs across assigned products.

  • Lead stakeholder meetings to drive product alignment.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and UX peers.

  • Proactively identify additional value opportunities across the product experience.

  • Display situational adaptability and courage to drive product changes that better meet user needs or organizational goals.

5% – Coaching and Mentoring

  • Provide coaching to junior UX resources and mentor apprentices on projects or workstreams.

70% – Delivery and Execution

  • Champion design-centered thinking within assigned products.

  • Deliver UX design artifacts and lead usability testing efforts.

  • Collect and synthesize user data to inform product decisions.


Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to: User Experience Manager

  • Direct Reports: None


Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel required (5%–20% of the time).

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of UX experience in an enterprise or retail environment, or equivalent educational background.

  • 5–7 years of experience working with Agile software development teams.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage and drive complex projects.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in UX or related fields.

  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience.


Leadership Requirements:

  • No leadership experience required.

Work Location:

  • Hybrid – Associates work a blend of onsite at our client’s location and remotely. Flexibility is based on business needs.

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $55.00 to $60.00/hr.  Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
