Accessibility Statement

At Synergis, we believe that accessibility is a fundamental right for all, and we strive to ensure that our online content and experiences are inclusive of and accessible to people with disabilities.

We believe that producing inclusive and accessible products and services requires a deep commitment to continuous evaluation and improvement of the processes, practices, and tools we use to design, develop, and deliver content and experiences.

Because of this belief, Synergis is investing in business operations and technical infrastructure that will ensure that accessibility is part of the process when creating new online content and experiences. As we establish more mature processes, we will update this Accessibility Statement.

Measures to support accessibility

At Synergis, we believe that accessibility should never be an afterthought. Instead, all content and digital experience creation tools and processes should consider and include people with disabilities from the initial design phase and include testing by users with disabilities as part of the process.

Synergis is actively taking the following measures to ensure the accessibility of the Synergis website:

  • Include accessibility as part of our mission statement
  • Include an Accessibility Statement on the Synergis website that identifies the company
  • Partner with Accessibility Advisors to establish strategic, operational, and technical best practices across the organization
  • Incorporate accessibility into our procurement, design, and development processes
  • Include people with disabilities in the design process

 

Additional measures will be taken throughout 2025 to establish the documentation, training, and tools needed by Synergis staff to support the design, development, and delivery of accessible online content and experiences.

Accessibility conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The Synergis website (www.synergishr.com) is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Known issues on the Synergis website include the following:

  • Some images are missing text alternatives
  • There is no mechanism for stopping or pausing content that scrolls automatically
  • Some links and other interactive controls do not have a clear purpose to users of assistive technology, such as screen readers
  • Headers in the website footer menu have insufficient contrast against the background color
  • On some pages, the heading structure isn’t clear

 

This list reflects the issues that are known at this time and may not include all the issues present on the site.
