TITLE: Data & Business Intelligence Associate
LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – Onsite SV (preferred) or SF – 2 days a week or more, no preference on which days)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12 months

We are looking for a Business and Data Intelligence Associate to join our team. In this role, you will work with cross-functional partners and develop data foundations, data pipelines, data visualization assets, and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making for the Customer Success organization. This is a 12-month contract role.

Data & Business Intelligence Associate Responsibilities:

  • Tool and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain data tools and analytics dashboards to automate processes and provide real-time insights into customer metrics and product usage.
  • Foundations and Pipeline Development: Write scalable and efficient SQL to encode business logic and develop robust pipelines on the LinkedIn data stack.
  • Data Management: Establish robust data collection, storage, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of analyses.
  • Project Management: Lead data projects from inception to completion, aligning with strategic goals and ensuring delivery of measurable value to the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners in customer success and adjacent teams to integrate data-driven insights into strategies and initiatives.
  • Continuous Learning and Innovation: Keep up with industry trends in data science and analytics to drive innovation and improve customer success outcomes.

Data & Business Intelligence Associate Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct complex analyses on large datasets to uncover trends, correlations, and patterns that drive customer success strategies. Translate data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, utilizing statistical analysis and predictive modeling to inform decision-making.
  • GenAI Development: Leverage Generative AI to develop data tools that address stakeholder and team opportunities and pain points.

Data & Business Intelligence Associate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL/relational databases
  • 2+ years of business analytics experience in a medium-to-large company with demonstrated ability to navigate complex data environments and provide guidance to business leaders
  • 4+ years of relevant industry or relevant academia experience working with large amounts of data
  • 2+ years of experience in at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python, Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript)
  • 2+ years of experience in data visualization and dashboard design

Data & Business Intelligence Associate Preferred Experience:

  • MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineering,
  • Statistical modeling project experience with regression models, tree models
  • Data pipeline development experience
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load) concepts, and patterns for efficient data governance.
  • Experience on adjacent with a Business Intelligence team

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $65 to $69.67/hr [Zone One] in the San Francisco Bay Area and the New York Metro, $60 to $65.49/hr in the state of Washington and the rest of California and New York [Zone Two], and $55 to $61.31 in Colorado [Zone Four] and in any state not already listed, the hourly pay range is $52 to $57.13 [Zone Four Minimum – Zone Two Max].  Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
