TITLE: Sr. Software Engineer
LOCATION: Preferred hybrid in New York, NY, but open to remote candidates
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12 months

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and operate mission critical services and applications that are used customers and employees worldwide.

Sr. Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions
• Working experience in the development Adobe Experience Manager applications
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed meeting LinkedIn’s standards for quality software engineering
• Design and ship high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability and testability issues.
• Maintain understanding of latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services.
• Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services
• Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers
• Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps 

Sr. Software Engineer Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of software engineering experience

Sr. Software Engineer Preferred Experience:

• Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in Java or Scala
• Working experience in building systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures
• Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
• Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and the technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $86 to $91.49/hr [Zone One] in the San Francisco Bay Area and the New York Metro, $81 to 86/hr in the state of Washington and the rest of California and New York [Zone Two], and $75 to $80.51 in Colorado [Zone Four] and in any state not already listed, the hourly pay range is $70 to $75.02 [Zone Four Minimum – Zone Two Max].  Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
